Activists this afternoon protested in Hull City Centre to bring the message to shoppers - 'A Dog is for Life Unless It's at B&K'.
Near the city's business retail centre, campaigners donned costumes and informed seasonal shoppers about the plans to construct Europe's largest beagle farm on the town's doorstep. Dressed as santa, his elves and beagles the message was joyfully delivered.
Lots of support and wellwishes were received from those passing by, with some vowing to join the campaign to stop this facility from being constructed. A TV crew were also present from Current UK, who are producing a documentary about NAVA's fight to stop animal experiments to be aired in January.
As the decision rests with Eric Pickles MP, it is clear that those locally, across the county and throughout the UK do not want this beagle breeding farm to be given the go-ahead.
