News has reached NAVA that this week, the General Manager of Harlan Laboratories UK, has handed in his notice of resignation and is perminantly ending employment with the company. Although we cannot name the person concerned due to legal restrictions, we can confirm that the campaign against the vivisection breeders has been cited as a reason.
As the campaign wages on to close down Harlan Interfauna at Wyton in Cambridgeshire, this news has been warmly welcomed.
All we can say is what a way to end 2011! Activists have vowed to bring about the closure of Britain's last beagle breeding farm and are set to up efforts into the New Year.
